Overview

Renuity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing information technology projects within the Technology Service organization from initiation to completion. This role requires a strong technical background and thorough understanding of project management methodologies. . Position will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

What You'll Do: 

  • Oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget
  • Manage and lead a variety of technical projects, managing expectations and aligning project objectives with organizational goals while ensuring successful completion
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate project goals, objectives, and status to all stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and external partners
  • Coordinate project phases and schedules with internal resources and third parties/vendors ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards the same project goals
  • Track the progress of the project and adjust plans as needed
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop and implement project risk management plans, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to management as needed
  • Ensure that all project documentation is completed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and other stakeholders

What You'll Bring: 

  • BS or BA in project management, business administration, information systems, computer science or other related field of study
  • 5-6 years of experience managing information technology projects
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project, Teamwork.com, Asana, etc
  • Well versed in PMBOK
  • Adept in project lifecycle management
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience managing small to medium information security and technology infrastructure projects, including physical and cloud technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management across the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for collaborative environments
  • Highly organized, task oriented with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Risk Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to influence change and deal with ambiguous or challenging situations
  • Strong technology background with the ability to discuss complex technical concepts
  • Experience in leading and completing projects, demonstrating the ability to drive initiatives from ideation to completion
  • Experience working within an ITIL environment with emphasis on change management

Preferred Education and Certifications: 

  • PMP Certification
  • ITIL Certification
